Amington Band Announce New MD Appointment

Following a round of quality auditions we’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Chris Barker, as our new Musical Director.

After retiring from a 32 year military career playing trombone in the Royal Corps of Army Music, Chris picked up a baton, most recently leading Witney Town Band. 

Since relocating to Shropshire, Chris is now ready for his next challenge and is excited to join us as we prepare to take on both the NEMBBA and LBBA contests in November before diving headfirst into the Christmas season.
